Evangelical Fellowship of Egypt: Evangelicals Mourn Lives Lost on Egyptian Ferry Accident
"All our churches prayed for the victims and their families," said Fouad Youssef, Director of the Evangelical Fellowship of Egypt, who noted that by Feb. 8, about 600 people were missing and 408 bodies were found. "Christians are called to donate assistance to the victims' families," he continued. "Official letters of condolences were sent to Egyptian officials and President Mobarak."
European Evangelical Alliance: Publication of Danish Cartoons
As a group of people with deep faith convictions, the European Evangelical Alliance understands the upset among our Muslim friends and co-citizens about something that they perceive to be deeply insulting to their faith. At the same time, as Europeans, we also understand that our largely secularised societies find this upset incomprehensible. The satirising or criticism of faith is common in European media. Other faith communities (particularly Christians), while often being upset, have got used to these comments.

Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe: Church Group Launches AIDS Policy in Zimbabwe
The Evangelical Fellowship of Zimbabwe (EFZ) Tuesday launched an AIDS policy aimed at harmonizing and sharing best practices in a bid to halt the devastating effects of the pandemic.
EFZ chairman of the HIV/AIDS commission, David Chiweza, said at the launch that the policy gives life support to orphans, widows and vulnerable women and children.

This course is sponsored by WEA’s International Missionary Training Network and directed by its author, Dr. Jonathan Lewis. The course uses readings and self-assessment tools to identify key issues, help measure readiness for tentmaking, and create plans that lead to effective deployment. Encouragement and accountability is provide by the course facilitator, fellow trainees, and a church-based mentor of the participant's own choosing. The end product is a thorough understanding of the process involved in becoming a successful tentmaker and a Personal Action Plan leading to this end, to be executed over time under local church supervision.
