WEA statement made during the Universal Periodic Review Iran pre-session on 10 October 2019
- Dabrina Bet Tamraz, Iranian pastor, made a statement on behalf of the World Evangelical Alliance and Christian Solidarity Worldwide during a civil society panel where she presented on the situation of Freedom of Religion or Belief in Iran to an audience of diplomats, U.N. and civil society organizations. After sharing her personal story, Ms. Bet Tamraz shared on the situation of Christians including converts to Christianity, and on the situation of Baha’is. Read the statement here.
