MISSION, VISION, OBJECTIVES
The Women's Commission is a global network of compassionate and visionary women seeking to identify and address the unique needs of women around the world. It provides, through WEA, an internationally respected voice and platform for women of the church globally.
The Women's Commission endeavours to partner with other international women's organizations for the benefit of women world-wide.
Major issues being addressed include poverty, illiteracy, HIV/Aids and advocacy, counselling, gender equality according to scripture, domestic violence and abuse of women, the worth of women, capacity building, education and leadership development. We work closely with the Global Human Trafficking Task Force of the WEA

Our Priorities for 2015-17
The Women’s Commission has 4 global priorities for the coming years.
Leadership Development – we want to connect and build-up evangelical women who are leaders in church, business and community life - through regional training and connecting women into the broader leadership of the church
Mentoring – we want to encourage, train and envision the next generation of women leaders Theological and Biblical literacy on gender and equality – we want authoritative, accessible and practical resources that local groups can use which show how gender equality is Biblical and urgently needed.Advocacy action on Violence and Trafficking (linking with the WEA’s Global Human Trafficking Taskforce) – women and girls make up the majority of victims of violence and trafficking. We want to act boldly to see change
