World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information of our constituents gathered online and offline. Personal information is any information that can be used to distinguish, identify or contact a specific individual. Anyone from whom we collect such information should expect that it will be kept in confidence and any use of the information will be subject to consent.

WEA does not rent, sell or trade personal information lists. Safe guards are in place to ensure that the information is not disclosed or shared more widely than is necessary to achieve the intended purpose. WEA also takes measures to ensure the integrity of this information is maintained and not lost, or destroyed without consent.

WEA collects, uses and discloses personal information only for the purpose of keeping our constituents informed on the activities of WEA. For gifts received through credit card, card information is only kept in our file until the transaction is completed, or unless otherwise stated in an agreement.

Every effort will be made to honor the requests of constituents to:

  • Limit the frequency of solicitations
  • Limit the methods of solicitations
  • Maximize protection of individual privacy

Furthermore, WEA uses password protocols and/or encryption software online to prevent unauthorized access and to ensure data accuracy and protection of personal information received online.
